Exercise and Sleep

At Pacific Quest students participate in a daily exercise routine. Exercise helps keep the body healthy, the mind sharp and emotions more clear and balanced. Regular exercise provides immediate as well as long-term rewards, creating a better awareness of these benefits in our students.
Stretching, yoga, cardiovascular exercises, resistance bands, calisthenics, working in the gardens & camps, hiking, and swimming are all components of the program.

Our Students sleep in bunk beds in a dormitory or cabin-like setting.
Before coming to PQ many of our students have had difficulty sleeping or irregular sleep patterns. A regular schedule, proper nutrition, and a full day of work and activity help the students get restful sleep at night which allows for more energy and a better attitude during the day.
